Management of the Technical Standards of the SectorObjectives:

Give continuity to the CBIC Group for Monitoring Technical Standards, made up of representatives of the Civil Construction Unions (CBIC associates) and with the collaboration of the superintendent of the Brazilian Civil Construction Committee CB-02. The group’s performance is oriented towards the narrowing of the association, the reinforcement of co-responsibility and the intensification of the follow-up/monitoring/positioning work on the main standardization processes related to the sector within the scope of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT). ) and that may have an impact on Brazilian construction activities. Through the division of tasks among the Group’s participants, it is possible to carry out the active participation, face-to-face or remote, of the representatives of the construction companies and/or unions and/or CBIC in the defense of their interests and in the decision-making of the ABNT Study Commissions, in addition to eventual technical studies to subsidize the defense of interests of the construction sector in normalization processes.
Intensify the promotion and encouragement of technical standards, giving continuity to the tool created with the preparation of the Catalog of Technical Standards in previous phases of the project, a practical guide to facilitate the use of technical standards. That is, to modernize the catalog transforming it into a tool to be used by mobile devices, into an application (APP).
Give sequence to the articulation and elaboration of projects and studies for the revision of the ABNT NBR 12721:2006 Standard – Basic Unit Cost / CUB.
Start the articulation and studies for the revision of the ABNT NBR 15575/2013 standard – “Housing Buildings – Performance”.

Trends and Improvements in Management, Technology and Innovation in ConstructionObjective:

Identify, support, develop and disseminate proposals for improvements, development trends and modernization of the sector related to management, technologies and innovations with a view to multiplying these initiatives and promoting other actions of a similar nature.
Implement actions to promote the training of engineering and architecture professionals for the implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) in the sector, through the holding of mobilization and dissemination seminars of the BIM/CBIC/SENAI Implementation Collection.
Hold a national event on BIM, with post-event promotion in a national vehicle and in a specialized technical magazine.
Make the presentation of the 22nd Edition of the CBIC Innovation and Sustainability Award.
