A oposi\u00e7\u00e3o, no entanto, afirma que o saque extraordin\u00e1rio ir\u00e1 movimentar a economia, al\u00e9m de ser uma fonte de renda \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o desassistida no atual contexto de pandemia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cO FGTS foi criado como uma prote\u00e7\u00e3o ao trabalhador em situa\u00e7\u00f5es de demiss\u00f5es imotivadas, e n\u00e3o para ser um complemento de renda em momentos de crise. Al\u00e9m disso, ele proporciona habita\u00e7\u00e3o para quem precisa, especialmente \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o de baixa renda. Se n\u00e3o existisse o FGTS, ser\u00e1 que as 450 mil fam\u00edlias que t\u00eam acesso \u00e0 casa pr\u00f3pria por ano no Brasil por meio do Fundo realizariam seu sonho? Diminuir\u00edamos tens\u00f5es sociais?\u201d, afirmou Jos\u00e9 Carlos Martins, presidente da entidade, ao\u00a0<strong>BRP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Entre 2017 e 2019, a m\u00e9dia anual de recursos movimentados em financiamento imobili\u00e1rio com o uso do FGTS foi de R$ 52,6 bilh\u00f5es, segundo a entidade, para a constru\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dia de 452 mil unidades de moradia.
